Hasta que acalorada llegó al rellano, y como el se había ido, recuperó el tono y llamo por teléfono al número de atención al maltrato, y con la voz encendida denunció, y se fue de casa bajando las escaleras a paso precipitado. “The author” is a film based on the first novel of Javier Cercas ”El móvil”, published in 1987. The film is convincing and has a lot of clever plot twists that surprise you. Sometimes it is hilarious and has a lot of suspense and tension. It describes the adventures of Alvaro a husband of a best seller authoress, who gets divorced and trys to write his own novel. With the instruction of a teacher in writing who considers that reality is a plus, he   begans to manipulate their neighbours to write his particular plot.   The film is mesmerizing and keeps you on the edge of your seats. The acting is brilliant and the characters are well described by their actions. This film is not to be missed.
